“Life is a series of challenges”.
Parenthood is the biggest challenge of all.
Even if the child is “normal’it is a struggle to raise them these days. But if the child does not “conform” to the norms of the society, the challenge becomes a hurdle, at times insurmountable.
Let us start a parents forum to share difficulties with mentally ill child.We will share emotional challenges facing the youth, and address the financial,social issues and supportive ideas.

Well friends, we made a beginning! I would like to hear more from you all.
Let us start the dialog with the question from the child. "Why am I different?" let us find out how we answer this.
This is a great idea. After a recent Oprah about a mentally ill little boy, I got on her website and discovered so many moms that were just like me. Moms that have struggled for years to understand their children and find help and feel lost. There are so many of us out there!
